Community Circle - Challenging Negative Self Talk

$20.00

Sunday, June 16th (2:00m - 4:00PM)

Conversation Leader: Sheila Casale, RN

Sheila's psychiatry career spans over 30 years in both inpatient and outpatient hospitals. She is currently the RN for the Partial Hospital Program through Maine Medical Center, where she facilitates interactive psychoeducation groups. The purpose of these groups is to teach coping skills for many patients with different mental health diagnoses in an acute setting. While the information is used in a clinical setting, the majority of the material utilized is beneficial for all levels of functioning. Sheila will propose some alternate thinking and challenge our minds to pivot toward a more positive path.

Do you have questions in advance that you’d prefer to stay anonymous? Send them along via the CONTACT tab and we’ll address as many as we can during our time together.

Plan on a casual gathering of learning and conversation. Bring your favorite camp/lawn chair and make yourself at home here in the yard.

Please plan to attend via Zoom if you’re unable to attend in person.

In the case of inclement weather, this circle will transition to Zoom only.
