Conversation Leader: Sheila Casale, RN
Sheila's psychiatry career spans over 30 years in both inpatient and outpatient hospitals. She is currently the RN for the Partial Hospital Program through Maine Medical Center, where she facilitates interactive psychoeducation groups. The purpose of these groups is to teach coping skills for many patients with different mental health diagnoses in an acute setting. While the information is used in a clinical setting, the majority of the material utilized is beneficial for all levels of functioning. Sheila will propose some alternate thinking and challenge our minds to pivot toward a more positive path.
